6 y/o Double Bred Wonder's Otoe Gelding
For sale is a 6 year old double bred Wonder's Otoe gelding. "Wonder" is a really nice gelding that we have raised and competed on in barrel racing, calf roping, and team roping. He is 14.3 hands high and weighs 1100 pounds and is a really well made gelding. He is really broke and rides really well, with a great handle. He was entered in a few PRCA Southeastern Circuit rodeos and amateur rodeos as a five year old in barrel racing. He is easy to ride and gentle for anyone to run or rope on. His dam is Dymmek's Wonder Doll, which was a multiple IFR qualifier. His sire is Big Time Wonder, who was the 2003 and 2004 PRCA Southeastern Circuit champion calf roping horse. Wonder is also good in calf roping. I have rode him at the amateur and IPRA rodeos. He scores good and can run and stop. He has plenty of pull with no jerkline. I have headed a lot of steers on this gelding and I would consider him a nice head horse. This horse would be great for any or all three of these events. Skeeter Prescription "Hershey"
Hershey is a big stout bay gelding. He is started on calf roping. Has a great handle. Calm. Has a lot of run, tracks good, has a big hard stop, great timing, and works rope good. He has also been headed on, handles cattle good and faces good. He is a great horse to use and work off of, working cows in the lot and in the pasture. I have just started him in the box, hasn't figured out how to leave yet, and needs work. I jus don't have the time to finish him. His down fall is even though he's broke to death, he's NOT a kids horse when he is fresh, I've let kids walk him around after I worked him but that's it. I have hauled him to a few ropings and jus was hesitant on the barrier. I just haven't had the time to bring him anywhere else nor work him on the barrier. I have also haul him to a few ranch rodeos and he was very useful in everything we done. He is 10 but dont let that scare you, he was broke and trained his 3 year old year and was turned out till I bought him last year. And I just don't have the time to finish him.
