Head Horse For Sale
This Gelding was started roping cattle about a year and half ago. He really likes his job. He scores good, runs hard to the hip and rates really well. He has a good smooth move in the corner. I have hauled him to about a 6-10 ropingS over the past 6 months and he has done very well. This horse would best fit a #5 or better. This horse is just going to get better and better... He was started right. This horse has been used in the pasture, he is very strong and can really pull. I have drug a good amount of cattle on him. Video was taken at a friends place. Skeeter Prescription "Hershey"
Hershey is a big stout bay gelding. He is started on calf roping. Has a great handle. Calm. Has a lot of run, tracks good, has a big hard stop, great timing, and works rope good. He has also been headed on, handles cattle good and faces good. He is a great horse to use and work off of, working cows in the lot and in the pasture. I have just started him in the box, hasn't figured out how to leave yet, and needs work. I jus don't have the time to finish him. His down fall is even though he's broke to death, he's NOT a kids horse when he is fresh, I've let kids walk him around after I worked him but that's it. I have hauled him to a few ropings and jus was hesitant on the barrier. I just haven't had the time to bring him anywhere else nor work him on the barrier. I have also haul him to a few ranch rodeos and he was very useful in everything we done. He is 10 but dont let that scare you, he was broke and trained his 3 year old year and was turned out till I bought him last year. And I just don't have the time to finish him.  1d/2d Rodeo Ready-Been there done that
Rodeo ready, AUTOMATIC, 1d/2d finished been there done that kind of gelding, he's gentle, quiet. He's been hauled all over from amateur to pro rodeos, barrel races, high school rodeos. He was an expensive horse when he was younger. He hasn't been hauled much lately. He was ran this winter and had been turned in the field barefooted, out of shape and worked great at the barrel race. He has ducked the first before,probably about 3 times out of 10 he may duck if you were in the same pen every time. He's very automatic in his turns and doesn't need any help, send him as hard as you want or lope him through. Does not get hot at all, not a nervous horse, he doesn't have a mean bone to him. I'm currently legging him up and getting him back in shape, he would fit anyone. Will have some roping videos this weekend. Super easy to handle, bathe, clip anything you want. Good on trails, good with all the noise and ropes. Nothing bothers him. He's clean legged and currently barefooted and sound! Solid 11 Year Old Head Horse
This is a very solid 11 yr old gelding. Broke nice, and stays that way even if he is turned out. Solid in the box, runs to the hip, no duck and a nice face every single run.
