EL TEVO CASH, aka “Tevo” (2001-2018)

2014 AQHA/PRCA Team Roping – Heading Horse of the Year

Owned and ridden by: Brandon Beers
(4X NFR Qualifier, PRCA Team Roper/Header)

“That is the most honest horse I’ve ever rode. He might only give you 70 percent sometimes, but you don’t notice it because he’s so fast.” – Brandon Beers

“A piece of my heart went to Heaven this morning. There are no words to explain what this horse meant to us. Tevo was his strong, tough, graceful self all the way to the end. He gave Brandon and I everything we have now and I will forever be grateful to him for that. Many don’t know that the year (2014) he won Horse of the Year he had a torn suspensory but, because of his love for BB and his job he won three legged and carried BB to another NFR. Tevo loved being a head horse, he was a fierce competitor, so honest and I truly think he knew when he needed to win. But he was also kind and gentle, he truly loved being around people. I regret that he didn’t ever get his due retirement, to live in a pasture and get fat but a part of me thinks he would have hated that.”

“It’s true, the great ones change your life.
Fly high Tevo, you finally have your wings.
I will love you forever.”
